Empowering You to Lead with Confidence
Hi, I am Youlanda Hunter, an early childhood educator, author, consultant, trainer, and coach with over 30 years of hands-on experience supporting infants, toddlers, preschoolers, teachers, and directors. My dual experience as both a classroom practitioner and administrator ensures my approach is deeply empathetic, operationally realistic, and aligned with the realities directors and teachers face daily.
My teaching style is warm, relational, grounded in lived experience, and infused with accessible neuroscience. I have a rare ability to help adults feel supported, not judged— and to help programs find clarity and compassion even in complex situations. My work is rooted in my personal story as a trauma survivor who found healing through early childhood practices and a relentless faith in God. These lived experiences, combined with evidence-based knowledge in child development, organizational development, and business administration, give me an extraordinary level of insight, empathy, and credibility. I believe that when staff feel supported, regulated, and confident— children thrive and programs stabilize.
